Trees of Bont
During the pandemic lockdowns of 2020-21, like many others, I found myself repeatedly treading the same paths in the woods and hills around my home in Pontrhydfendigaid (Bont to the locals). Possibly going slightly stir crazy, I started giving names to some of the trees I encountered. Sometimes names just popped into my head, sometimes they needed a little more thought. Generally I found that they seemed to show more of their character without leaves. I just love the textures and shapes you find in a naked tree. GET THE BOOK!
